Introducing Quiet Corners Exciting Jungle Campsite in Mudumalai, Nilgiris, South India.

One of the most exciting parts of Quiet Corner is the ministry at the Jungle Campsite which reaches out to the youth, families and others. This campsite is located next to South India’s most popular wildlife sanctuary, attracting people from every background. The fun and exciting activities, including trekking, photography, and bird-watching, bring enjoyment to the young and old alike. With the mellow, pleasant climate year long and the tranquil setting, this center caters to both larger groups and single families. Quiet Corner is 10 acres of jungle; a beautiful plot gifted to us by God.

Since the beginning of this camp ministry, over 20,000 young people have visited Quiet Corner along with hundreds of families. The center is also used by various churches and Christian organization for Bible camps, conferences, and retreats. Over the years, several young men and women have committed their lives to the Lord. Some of these individuals are now dynamic Christian leaders in missions. One visitors made this comment, “Thomas, you don't know that you are sitting on a goldmine, which is not exploited fully till now.”

Until recently, we only had small chapel that could seat 80 to 90 people; accommodation was also limited. But the Lord in His grace has helped us to build Grace Corner which accommodates for more people. We are also in the process of building a conference hall that seats about 350 people known as Mercy Corner. This is a two storied building with the Conference Hall down and residential rooms upstairs. We are excited to finish this landmark in our camp history with the help of MET.

In the future, we plan on adding a sports facilities,  and furnishing and equipment for the Hall. We trust the Lord for these. If the Lord lays a burden on your heart, this is an opportunity for any Church or individuals to make a lasting investment for the Lords cause in India.

Our current need is $575,000 to finish the entire Mercy Corner. We wait before the Lord for it. This will add another sixteen rooms for residence in the first floor. The building is made on granite stone and of course cementandsteeland; this is the most solid building in the campsite now. The income received from renting the facilities for families and conferences is used for the ministry.
